Emmanuelle Mayer is a documentary director and cinematographer with a BFA in Photography from the Bezalel Academy of Arts and Design and an MFA in Cinema and Television from Tel Aviv University. 

Her cinematographic work includes over 15 feature documentaries and documentary series shot in Israel, the US, the UK, India, Poland, France, the DRC, Italy and Switzerland. 

These films have been broadcast on PBS-POV, TRT World, TV5 Monde, Yes Docu, HOT8, and Israel Channels 1 + 2, and have been screened in leading film festivals such as HotDocs, AFI Docs, IDFA, Docaviv and more. 

Her directorial debut, the documentary feature ‘A Fish Tale’, won Best Debut Film at the Israel Documentary Forum Awards in 2021 and both the Audience and Other Israel Awards at the Jerusalem International Film Festival 2019.
